General Election 2024

The general election is just weeks away and here at Endometriosis UK, we want all prospective candidates to know about endometriosis. 

You can help by completing our simple form. This form will trigger an email to all your election candidates, telling them about the potentially devastating impact endometriosis can have and how they can help the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with the disease.

Why should I write to my local election candidates?

In just a few weeks, we will be going to the polls to vote for who will form our next government. These representatives will ultimately be responsible for running our public services for the next five years. 

In the General Election 2024, there will be many new people running to become a Member of Parliament (MP), some for the first time. It is vital that these new potential MPs are informed about endometriosis as a key area for change and improvement in the UK. 

We know that it now takes an average of 8 years and 10 months to get diagnosed with endometriosis in the UK This is unacceptable. Endometriosis UK is looking forward to working with our future government, to take action and improve the lives of the 1.5 millions people in the UK living with endometriosis.
