About this group
Meetings will be held at Northwick Park Hospital. We have use of a room in Gynaecology Outpatients, the entrance is to the side of the Maternity building next to the multi storey car park (Car Park 1).
A notice directing you to the department will be on the front of the maternity entrance door.
Car Park 1 is the best place to park, there is a charge.
Northwick Park Underground Station is at the back of the hospital, please be mindful when you exit the station you have a little walk to Gynae Outpatients.
Bus routes are H9, H10, H14, 186, 223, 182

I am the Endometriosis Clinical Nurse Specialist for London North West University Healthcare Trust based at Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow. Passionate about Women's Health, I started in the role in May 2018 and quickly found that there was very little support in our local area for women (and their friends and family) suffering with Endometriosis hence I decided to become a support group leader. In time, I hope that the group will benefit those who attend and become an integral part of their Endometriosis management.

Hi everyone! I'm Aoife. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2017 after years of suffering. I have undergone 2 laparoscopies.
I know how lonely the illness can feel.
Getting my diagnosis, I was overwhelmed with emotions. I was relieved to finally know what was wrong and have my illness validated. I am passionate about volunteering with Endometriosis UK and raising awareness for our condition and trying to help lower the period of time it takes to get diagnosed. I am hoping that this group will help other women like me to be able to live well with endometriosis, share experiences, gain information and feel they safe and understood. |
