Adenomyosis

Adenomyosis (ad-uh-no-my-O-sis) is a condition where endometrial tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus (womb). In a way similar to endometriosis, this tissue continues to respond to the hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle and thickens, breaks down and bleeds.

In this webinar, we talk to Consultant Gynaecologist Liza Ball about adenomyosis. We discuss what the condition is, the symptoms, and how to help manage the condition. If you are concerned that you may have adenomyosis, please consult your medical practictioner.
