Leicester Support Group
Upcoming Support Group Sessions
There are no upcoming sessions at this time. Please check back again.
My aim is to help others around me better understand the condition, raise awareness within my community, destroy stigmas around periods in general and to let men and women know its okay to talk period!
The group is here to build the support circle you need. Sometimes having a label makes things easier to accept and on other levels it also empowers you as a woman to stand up for your basic human rights.
The group is aimed at those with endometriosis but also welcomes anyone with a friend or loved one who wants to gain knowledge and an understanding on how best to support that individual.
Leicester Friends Meeting House is a 15min walk from the Leicester Train Station. There are easy bus routes from the town centre that go towards Queens Road. Queens road also has many coffee shops, restaurants and health stores nearby.
Meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month.
The meeting room is available from 6 - 10pm.
1 to 1 meetings can be booked in with group support leader after the main group support meeting.
Kitchen facilities available for tea and coffee.
