We are looking for enthusiastic people to help influence and guide Endometriosis UK’s operational activity to better support the diverse endometriosis community.
You will be a part of our new EDI forum. Individuals of marginalised communities will use their lived experiences to advise on and also propose new Endometriosis UK projects and initiatives. In addition to Endometriosis UK engaging and working alongside communities, this forum will be an integral part of ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in all work.

- Review and feedback on Endometriosis UK’s operational plans, projects, and initiatives within timelines
- Offering projects and initiative ideas to support marginalised communities.
- Ensure Endometriosis UK’s activities supports everyone with endometriosis and challenging plans which do not
- Attend 4-5 update meetings a year
- Be an Endometriosis UK’s representative at a local level
- Act in line with our Volunteer policies and Code of Conduct
What is required for this role?
No special qualifications are needed for this role, but being able to devote time to prepare for and attend meetings is essential.
- Experience of endometriosis
- Engaged with your surrounding communities, and committed to being aware of collective and individual needs
- An interest in bettering healthcare
- Able to listen to others and share your views
- Able to attend our meetings prepared
- Ability to empathise with others who have different life experiences
- Ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds in a non-judgmental way
