Endometriosis UK is delighted to announce the latest organisations to join our Endometriosis Friendly Employer (EFE) scheme:
- NHS Ayrshire & Arran, which is the first Scottish health board to sign up to scheme
- Nottingham College - one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, with more than 1,300 staff and more than 25,000 students
- Southwark Council – a local authority in South London, which is the first English council to become an EFE
These employers have signalled their intention to improve support for those with endometriosis in their workforce, as well as breaking down taboos and stigmas around menstrual health.
As part of the scheme, the employers appoint Endometriosis Champions, who will receive training from Endometriosis UK, to enable them to provide support and information to colleagues.
Everyone at Endometriosis is delighted to welcome these three employers to the diverse range of organisations which are tackling taboos around menstrual health and endometriosis through the Endometriosis Friendly Employer scheme.
