Endometriosis UK to attend Political Party Conferences for the first time

Party conference season is here - and Endometriosis UK is delighted to be attending for the very first time to network with key policy makers and call for change.

Endometriosis UK is determined to ensure endometriosis is a political priority, and Party Conference season provides the perfect opportunity to push the endometriosis agenda with key political influencers. We’ll be attending debates, fringe events, and policy meetings, as well as meeting with Members of Parliament and their staff to push menstrual health higher up the political agenda.

With an upcoming Employment Rights Bill promised by the new Labour Government, and gynaecology waiting times facing crisis point, the time has never been more important to get our messages across.

We look forward to speaking with MPs and key political influencers over the next few weeks. The Labour Conference takes place in Liverpool from 22-25 September and the Conservatives takes place in Birmingham from 29 September - 2nd October.

If you're attending either the Labour or Conservative Party Conferences and would like to meet with us, please do email policy@endometriosis-uk.org

Do keep an eye on our social media channels to catch up on what we're up to during conference season and we look forward to sharing updates with you soon.

*Why do you only attend the Labour and Conservative Party Conferences?

As a registered charity, Endometriosis UK are completely independent and will never promote, or be seen to promote, any political party. We follow all guidance and laws set out by the Charity Commission and we understand that this is vitally important for public trust in charities. We work with all political parties and promote respect, tolerance and consideration for others, reflecting our trusted standing as a charity.

We are attending the Party Conferences of the two largest political parties in the UK and will continue to work with all parties outside of conference season.
