There isn't enough money spent on research into endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). More money is desperately needed for research because for both endometriosis and PCOS the cause of the disease is not yet known, and neither have a cure.
This is simply not good enough when we consider that 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth have endometriosis and PCOS, and some have both conditions. That’s millions of people without a cure!
Endometriosis UK and Verity, the PCOS charity, want to change this and we want your help to do so. There is a UK parliamentary debate on research funding for endometriosis and PCOS taking place on Monday 18 October, and we want to get as many MPs as possible along to the debate. Because research is an area where there are both UK wide and devolved administration policies and funding opportunities, we want to get MPs from all across the UK to attend.

The debate is taking place because over 100,000 people signed a petition last year asking the UK government to increase research funding for endometriosis and PCOS. If you were one of the people who signed the petition – thank you.
