Endometriosis UK Health Unlocked Moderators offers those with endometriosis a safe space to explore their feelings and experiences. Health Unlocked Moderators have lived experience of endometriosis and ensure the forum is a safe and welcoming space for all. Moderators can not offer advice of any kind, be it medical, financial or legal.
The forum is an important part of the charity's ability to provide information and support, a sense of belonging and community to those with endometriosis all over the country.
Health Unlocked Moderators offer 2-3 hours of their own time each week In return they can expect to receive good quality induction training and can access ongoing training and support to help them in their role.
When signing up to become a volunteer we ask that you can commit to a minimum 6 month period.
We only accept applications from individuals with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis across our Support Network
To apply please read the role description here, complete an application form and email to volunteer@endometriosis-uk.org
We encourage interest and applications from those who identify as LGBTQIA+, those from Black, Asian or Minortiy Ethnic communities, experiencing childlessness by choice and not by choice. We want to increase representation of these communities amongst our volunteer and service users.
